Jonathan Lu

Jonathan Lu joined Alibaba Group in 1999 and is now an executive vice president of the Group and the president of Taobao. From 2000 to 2004, he served in several leadership roles at Alibaba.com and managed the South China region for the company. In September 2004, Jonathan led a dedicated team to establish Alipay and served as the company's president before moving to Taobao in January 2008.

Before joining Alibaba Group, Jonathan was a co-founder of a network communication company.
