GPS Trading is a Greek trader of a range of apparel products including lingerie, underwear and camisoles, as well as candles, wines and religious items. The company learnt about Alibaba.com when it started in 1999 but thought it was just another dotcom start-up. However, the situation changed as time passed.

Alibaba.com generates hundreds of customer inquiries a week for GPS Trading and helps cement a significant number of deals, contributing to more than 40% of the company's total exports. GPS Trading now has clients in many places around the world because of Alibaba.com, and it finds the online marketplace a valuable source of global commercial news.
GPS Trading regards itself as a part of the Alibaba community, making use of TradeManager to interact with customers and establish solid business relationships. "We call it our TradeManager because we feel a part of this community. It keeps us online more than 18 hours per day. It allows the efficient and effective communication of all interested parties," said Panos.
