Custom Headphones In The Shape Of A Stethoscope

Zargis is a medical device company founded by Siemens Medical in 2001.  We have developed an FDA cleared computer aided auscultation system capable of detecting suspected systolic and diastolic murmurs.

The product we need is called a 'stethophone.'  It has the top half of a stethoscope, and the rubber tubing wraps around a small speaker.  The speaker has a 3.5mm audio jack.  The product is to be used like a pair of headphones-it should fit the head like a stethoscope would, and the speaker plays sound through the rubber tubing into the users ears.  Very similar products are commercially available.  An example can be seen at this website:

The speaker must have a frequency response of at least 20-20k hz as well as:

Noise Isolation: 40dB

1kHz sensitivity: 108 dB SPL for a 0.79V input

Maximum ouput: 120 sBSP:

Impedance: 100 Ohms nominal
