Turk Telecom is the leading firm in Turkey in communication area. They are going to purchase single use telephone cards. Details are given below.

2          DEFINITIONS:

 

2.1 Smart Card: Inside one or more circuits integratedin ID-1 type card (stated as in TSE 7246)

2.2. Chip: Electroniccomponents that will be used for memory and process.

2.3.Contact: This is the part which supplies the galvanic SUREKLILIK between IntegratedDEVRE and external mid face

 

3. General Requirements:

 

3.1 Its suppliers responsibility to ensure that the smart card which is inuse and will be purchased later on is working properly with any problems.

 

3.2 Suppliers are responsible forensuring that the materials they use in smart cards are high quality.

 

3.3. Supplier will deliver the cards fully loaded, counted and packaged asready to use.

 

3.4. Card suppliers must carry ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 quality certification.They should declare expiry dates on the proposal. Suppliers which do not  carry stated certifications can notparticipate in the tender.

 

3.5. Card Production Facility should carry a security certificate that is forcards with chips that is given by at least one of the following KURULUS EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) ,  MasterCard Visa , AMEX (American  Express) or GSM SAS (Security Accreditation Scheme) . Also suppliers who carry Security ManagementSystems Deutsche Telecom/TUVT TU4 securitycertificate can participate in the tender as well.

3.6. In case the bidder whoovertake the tender do not carry TUVIT TU4 security certificate, before theagreement is signed they should ensure that they applied to  SecurityManagement Systems Deutsche Telecom forthe required certificate. If supplier fails to provide this document agreementwill not be signed. In 6 months after the agreement is signed the suppliershould provide the certificate and send a copy of the document to Turk Telekom.If supplier can not fulfill the condition the agreement will be cancelled.

3.7. Bank Cardswith chips can be shown as reference.
