Characteristic:
Nitrocellulose is white fibrous or flaky fibre. Its specific heat is about 0. 4 and relative density is 1. 65 ~ 1. 67g / cm3. It is soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, the solution of camphor in ethyl alcohol and the mixture of ether alcohol, etc. It is classified as inflammable of hazard class No. 1 and is sensitive to mechanical shock when the wetting solvent content is lower. Acid, alkali, oxidant reductant or heat and direct sunlight will make unfavorable affection on the quality.

Usage:
Nitrocellulose is chiefly used for the manufacture of a variety of nitro-lacquers, typewriting wax paper, printing ink, varnished cloth, bottle-cap seal, leather oil, nail polish, adhesives and water soluble paint or lip soluble paint, etc.
