3. General Specifications
a) 3 phase type 1 for use on a line, insulted with SF6. Porcelain should be brown to be mounted on a structure.
b) Operating Mechanism. It should be spring operated with motor. The available voltage will be 110 to 120 VDC
d) Physical properties.
To suppress an arc SF6 will be used. There should be a low pressure alarm, a closing coil for low pressure, a contact to block the closing coil and a contact to block each opening coil.
The tank should lose less then 1% per year of the SF6.
The unit should have humidity filters that last 2 service periods.
Seal and joints should be double.
g) Blocking Mechanism
The closing and re connect should be block if there are the following conditions;
Minimum SF6 Pressure
Springs are not charged.
The manufacture should advise the minimum values that would cause this situation.
h) Aux Contacts and Indicators
There should be at a minimum 8 No + 8 NC for the operating mechanism.
The local close remote should have at least 4 NC + 4 NO
In the push button terminals, there should be available signals for the following to be sent to remote indicators.
Interrupter can not be operated because of the blocked operations.
Position of the main contacts (open or closed)
Position of selector switch (local or remote)
