The Iron Ore is to be used in our Iron Ore blend. The information / data shall be effected for assessing the suitability of Iron Ore (Lump), to be used in the blend for Blast Furnace, arriving at most economical and technically viable to charging burden composition. The final selection of Iron Ore (Lump) shall be at the sole discretion of PAKISTAN STEEL.4. The Producers / Mine Owners / Canalizing Agencies, whose offered Iron Ore (Lump) is found technically suitable shall later be notified the date of opening of their commercial offer (already submitted by them earlier with their technical offer in separate envelopes), which shall be opened publicly before the Price Negotiating Committee. 5. Destination: Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi, PAKISTAN.6. Producers / Mine Owners / Canalizing Agencies from Israel are not eligible to participate in the tender. 7. Validity of offer: Offer of FREIGHT for shipment should remain valid for 18 days and 45 days for FOBT from the date of tender opening and a certificate to this effect shall also be enclosed separately with tender documents.8. Sampling and analysis to be conducted at load port and discharge port as specified in the tender documents. The penalties if any on deviation from specification & rejection limits are mentioned in the tender documents.9. Pakistan Steel reserves the right to reject any or all offers without assigning any reason.10. The offers duly completed in all respect on prescribed proforma should reach , by 26.05.08, 14.30 hours.
