Detailed Buying Lead Description

Looking for wireless modems that work on USA GSM/GPRS network bands in PCI card format. PCI format is preferred to reduce visibility of external parts, except for antenna and SIM card. We are willing to entertain alternative solutions as long as basic requirements are satisfied.

Linux support is extremely preferred. If Linux support is not available, would prefer open driver specifications so GPL drivers could be developed on Linux.

This buying lead is for a start-up looking to initially build a prototype product from modem sample. Upon successful prototype, expecting an initial follow-up order of 15-30 pieces, with more to follow based on market potential.
