For sale is a gun barrel manufacturing company based out of Kalispell Montana currently specializing in blank barrels for AR-15s and contoured barrels for AK-47s. 

In 2007 sold $1.6 million

In 2008 sold $2.3 million

Up through 2008 the main product line sold and manufactured for this company was blank barrels for AR-15s.  Starting in 2009 this company will introduce a value added barrel and begin production on contoured barrels primarily used for AK-47s. Technology and equipment has been purchased to start immediate production.   Owner has secured pre-sales in excess of two and a half million dollars for the new product line in 2009.  Estimated sales for original product are expected to exceed the 90,000 units sold in 2008.

In 2008 the current owner received a 24% rate of return.  Barrels are competitively priced starting at $20 for the blank barrels and   $50 for the contoured barrels.  Contouring the barrels increases production costs by only 10-15%.

The current manufacturing facility can produce 12,000 15,000 barrels per month. The sale of this business includes all machinery, tooling, inventory, client list and contracts.  Current owner is willing to stay on for two to three years to help train.

Supplies of gun barrels are limited. This manufacturing company made and sold 90,000 barrels last year primarily consisting of one product line. Many gun manufactures are backlogged in their production waiting for barrels.  This company needs an investor to take sales and production to the next level.
