·        Rolls should be two-layer double-face, and have the following dimensions:

Roll Length:125 m.

Roll Width:12.5 cm.

Roll Thickness: 0.4 mm for one layer.

Roll inner Diameter: 9.5 cm.

·        They should not be reactive with the solution.

·        They should be non-toxic.

·        They should have good capacity for formation and welding.

·        They should not be penetrating to gases and vapor before and after sterilization.

·        They should not permit micro-organisms through them.

·        They should be free of chemical, mechanical impurities and to be furnished with analysis certificate confirming that.

·        The granules of PVC making the roll should be first class and in conformity with the specification of (FDA & WHO) and should not be recycled.

·        They should be colorless and very transparent so that they permit control of solution microscopically both before and after sterilization.

·        They should sustain and tolerate, without any change of color structure and consistency under the following sterilization conditions:

Ø  Temperature: 121Degree Celsius.

Ø  Pressure: 2 Bar.

Ø  Time: 20 Minutes.

·        Quantity required: 2,000,000 meters long.

·        A specimen of a complete 2 rolls should be sent for industrial trial. The specimen should be attached to analysis certificate which is certified by one of the laboratories recognized by the world health organization showing the specimen is in conformity with the specification specified by them for such use and to be certified by the Ministry of Health in the enterprise country and by the Syrian embassy as duly.

The goods imported should also be of the same specification of thespecimen attached to analysis certificate as mentioned above.
