Properties:

1)      Free-flowing powder form, free from lumps

2)      Should be easily dispersed in salt water (saturated or otherwise)

3)      Yield of 15 c.p apparent viscosity of salt water clay/saturated salt water clay, aged 24 hours should not be less than 12.5 m3/Ton

4)      Moisture content by weight < 15%

5)      Residue: 8% maximum on a 200 MESH screen

6)      Conformance with O.C.M.A. specifications is a must

7)      Properties to be stable in storage under field conditions (-10C to +50C) for 3 years min

Packing: Best quality paper bags/sacks (5-ply) containing 25Kg net weight an coated with polyethylene or laminated. Every 40 sacks to be loaded on one softwood pallet and every pallet then coated with strong polyethylene (1-ply).

Packaging should be such that material is protected under field condition of expected use and climatic influences and marine or land environment.

Closure of bags by wires is NOT acceptable.

Samples: two sealed samples of 1Kg each required for lab testing

Quote validity required till: October 1, 2009. The actual delivery is expected to commence in July-August.
