Space Frame & Steel

Space Frame systems are those of which their components are manufactured and installed at the site.

PROJECT PREPARATION
Space Frame projects are designed in accordance with the Matrix displacement method. The main point in the analysis is to collect the loads in certain nods. The rod components are calculated so that they can work under axial loads.
In loading implementations onto system, Inherent load, Threshold Load, Coating load, installation-suspended ceiling, snow load, wind load, heat effect, and earthquake effect are considered. Snow, wind, and earthquake loads are evaluated in accordance with TSE498 and Earthquake Regulation. Coating Load and installation loads are calculated in accordance with the material types to be used. Other loads, if any, shall be informed by the customers. (Cat road, scoreboard, and etc.)

SPACE FRAME SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Spheres:
They are the nods at where the rods are joined. C45 is obtained from steel material through hot forging. The diameters are changed according to the situations of the components to be joined at each nod.
Rods and Conical
Rods have pipe section and they are obtained with the welding of two conical parts at both sides. Pipes and conics may be St33, St37, St52 in the form of DIN-17100 material. Gas under welding technology is used in conic-pipe welding processes.
Bolt- Nut Pin
Bolts are placed for pipes before pipe and conic welding. It is projected from conic after welding and dyeing. The bolts may be in the range of M12 and M64 in accordance with the results obtained. The qualities may be 8.8 and 10.9. Nuts are used to penetrate the bolts into spheres and to secure them. Bolts and nuts are moved through pins.
Beams and beam Holders
Beams used for the installation of roof coating are materials in different cross-sections, the quality is ST37.
Beam holders are used in order to bond the beams to spheres and to insure the slope of the roof.

INSTALLATION
Materials unloaded at the site are classified in accordance with their types. The installation may be applied on the scaffold fully or through crane. The most important point in installation is to secure the bolts so that no space should exist. The installation is performed through temporary supports until it can carry itself.

PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION
Rods and beams are dyed with dust paints at 60 to 80 micron thickness. The materials are cleaned from oil and corrosion through some special treatments before the paint application.
