White Oils (medical) food grades

Subject: RFQ: MINERAL WHITE OIL (Food Grades)

Dear Sirs

We would like to specify our inquiry :

1)  the material -White Oil (mineral)  * specialrequirements specified below 

  Quantity: 40 - 60 MTin bulk  ( 26m3 ISO containers and  / or FlexiTank  20t in 20"container )

  Delivery Terms :FOB/port country of Origin 

* ) Special requirements :

The oils are to be used for agricultural and food industriesand shall meet specs defined by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on FoodAdditives (JECFA) 

The Codex Alimentarius (or food code) is a joint programmedof the FAO (the UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation) and the WHO (WorldHealth Organisation), lays down food health standards that serve as a referencefor international trade in foodstuffs.

We are interested in mineral oils, which meet JECFA FoodAdditive Codex specs as follows:

1) Mineral oil, high viscosity INS: 905d 

2) Mineral oil, medium and low viscosity  (class I ) INS: 905e

IMPORTANT :  ASupplier/Seller has to prove that its mineral oils - food-grade oils could beused  for direct contact with food - asfood-additives  and  meet JECFA - INS 905d and 905e specs. Theappropriate documents should be delivered - incl. Certificate of Conformity,issued by a state organization of the country of the goods origin which is incharge of safety of goods for human consumption (like FDA, Consumer ProtectionAdministration,  Ministry of Health ..etc. which responsible for local approvals of food-additives and pharmaceutics products in the country of the productorigin ).  The White Oil content shouldbe confirmed by analysis of a state laboratory etc.
