Prefab housing solutions for West Africa

The Nigerian real estate market is booming and the gap in the market is significant.

Of an estimated 16m housing units needed, about 1 million are needed for a progressively emerging middle class: bankers, telco and energy executives as well as civil service.

I have been in Nigeria two years and have made excellent contacts among the real estate community, and they have asked me to help them find high quality solutions for them to deliver more housing units, of superior quality faster and at competitive prices. Currently, Turkish, Chinese, Canadian and US firms are proactively attacking the market, with very different rates of success. But the market is vast, and quality of contacts make a difference.

I am looking for a company that can deliver a 'turn-key' solution to this demand: ship the products to Nigeria and help assemble at site, and train their locals to oversee further construction.

There is a real preference for concrete in the market so ICF solutions generate a lot of interest, as it presents strong benefits in speed of execution, which is one of the main challenges in Nigeria.

I have one opportunity right now for 100 units of 200m2 on 2 levels. They want ideas/ propositions for designs, as well as pricing. Most of the rral estate developers are looking for a strategic partner that will help them realise their growth ambitions and targets.
