INTRODUCTION

Almost 30%  of total exports of the country comes from textile products like wider width sheeting, fine & superfine poplins, heavy density fabrics i.e. Drill, Duck, Denim, Satin & industrial fabrics mostly being woven HIGH SPEED WEAVIG MACHINES

In order to achieve the expected weaving performance & quality of fabrics keeping the yarn quality in mind, special stress has to be given to sizing.

Size recipe has to be selected to have LOW VISCOSITY EVEN AT HIGH SIZE CONCENTRATION to facilitate CLEAR SHED OPENING, MINIMISING MIGRATION, DUSTING & STICKY ENDS which adversely affects the weaving performance.

ACRYL-N is an ammonium salt based Acrylic Products with LOW VISCOSITY & HIGH BINDING property. Its film having HIGH DEGREE OF INSENSITIVITY TO HUMIDITY AVOIDS TACKINESS AND SOFTENING OF FILM IN WEAVING ROOMS, where humidity is generally around 75-85%.

ACRYL-N is compatible with normally used additives like modified starches, PVA, softeners & waxes.

RECOMMENDATION

On high speed looms for all Cotton with various R/P sets i.e. 128/72, 136/80, 140/48 satins etc., 15-30% on the weight of starch, depending upon the loom speed, yarn quality, construction of fabric etc. For blended yarn, with heavy density fabrics, it is 10-15% on the weight of starch.
