Subject: Designing and production of Wireless terminal operating on WinCE
 
The aim of this order is to find a Professional supplier which would be able to provide a comprehensive technical solution resulting In manufacturing of wireless touch screen terminal. The device should meet the technical and functional parameters listed below. Because of the fact that one of the main determinants is the minimization of the devices unit price, the recommended approach is an adaptation of ready PND or PDA device. This order/ inquiry is aimed to the manufacturers of such devices (GPS/PND/ PDA) with own R&D departments. Exclusive sales agreement for European market for ready device is will be signed.


Requirments:
- touch screen min. 3.5 (the Best would be 4.3 or 5)
- 2-9 mechanical buttons
- processor min. 200MHz, 16MB RAM and approx. 512MB of internal NAND/NOR Flash memory
- operating system- WinCE (core version, without Start Menu access) in 6.0 version (preferably) or 5.0
- optional BSP and Skurce codes access
- connection for additional microSD card
- SmartCard reader
- required wirless connectivity in IEEE 802.15.4 (2.4GHz, ZigBee) standard, optionally IEEE 802.11b/g
- min. 8 hours of operating on batteries (advanced energy management)
- power supply, charging and access to the files via minibus port (the device should be recognized as Storage Device)
- optional audio (mono, 8kHz) input/output
- scriber

Expectations:
- cooperation with engineers in Poland during project development
- Access to the full technical documentation and software documentation (also to Skurce codes- can be negotiated)
- 25 pcs should be delivered by supplier for tests in Poland.
- annual production capacity of 25000 pcs.

- suppliers flexibility In implementation of modifications (housing, development of electronic, etc)
- Fast, flexible and problem-free cooperation (good command of english is required)
 
Hints:
-modification/ adaptation of existing PND (Personal Navigation Device) solution
- weight, size and mechanical construction should be similar to PND
- maximal usage of available solutions is recommended (mainboards, LCD displays, batteries)
