magnesium hydroxide-USP/liquid antacid formulation

For reference, please note the followings.

1. Certificate of analysis

   1) appearance  :  A fine white tasteless, odorless powder

   2) Identification test : 1 in 20 sol. in 3N Hydrochloric acid responds to the tests

       for magnesium

   3) Calcium : NMT 1.5% as CaO

   4) Heavy metal : NMT 40ppm

   5) Lead : NMT 0.001%

   6) Loss on ignition : Between 30.0% to 33.0% (800centidegree)

   7) Loss on drying : NMT 2.0% (105 centidegree for 2 hours)

   8) Soluble salt : NMT 10mg residue remains

   9) Carbonate : Not more than slightly effervescence is observed

  10) Microbial Limit : It meets the required of the test for absence of

        Esamonella coli.

  11) Alkalinity : NMT 2.0ml of 0.1N sulfuric Acid

  12) Bulk Density (Packed) : 0.55 gm/ml to 0.60 gm/ml

  13) Assay as Mg(OH)2  : Between 95.0 to 100.5%

2. Our target volume : 100-200mts per year

3. GMP certificate should be required for pharmaceutical grade.
