   • State: rigid
   • Colour: white/colorless
   • Tasteless
   • Oil penetration: <1.4%
   • Melting point: 58 - 60 ⁰C
   • Without acid, alkali and contaminant can be soluble in the water

1. Compound wax:
   • State: rigid
   • Colour: brown/yellow brown
   • Melting point: 63-67 ⁰C
   • Flash temperature: e 250 ⁰C
   • Penetration (at 25 ⁰C): 50 � 110
   • Oil content: 25 � 30%
   • Adhesion: e 7
   • Density: 0.83 � 0.868 g/cm³

1. Span-0 (S-80):
   • State: liquid (thick oil)
   • Colour: brown
   • Acidity: d 3
   • OH^- value: 190 - 220
   • Water content: d 1.5%
   • Breaking down temperature: e 130 ⁰C
   •  Viscosity at 25⁰C: 12 - 20 minutes

• Colour: brown/yellow brown
• Flash temperature: e 170 ⁰C
• Water content: d 0.15%
