independent cargo tank vent pipe with high pressure / vacuum relief valve (with flame arrestor) to be provided on the top of each cargo tank, slop tank and recovery tank.
The high velocity pressure / vacuum relief valve should be designed and tested according to requirement of International Maritime Organization (MSC/circ. 677), USCG regulation (CFR 46 part 39, 20-11), SOLAS 1974 Reg.59.1.9 and classification society. Checking lift (open/shut indicator) to be provided on valve body.
