USPS-3200 is a fully AdvancedTCA 3.0 and 3.1 option 2 compliant switch blade that provides 48 Giga Ethernet service for interfacing with node boards via Base Interface and Fabric Interface. 2 of the Fabric Interfaces can be configured PICMG 3.1 option 9(10G Ethernet Interface) by option, it would be very high useful to concentrate the high bandwidth traffic. Also, USPS-3200 provides up to 14 uplink ports, those are depending on Switch fabric configuration and RTM, so that User can be configured external network with very various methods and high bandwidth.
For Inter Switch Link (ISL) in Base Interface and Fabric Interface, 1 GE port and 1 FE port is dedicated individually for redundant configuration.
The USPS-3200 switch fabric delivers full wire speed Ethernet packet switching with Layer 2 and Layer 3 static routing. The USPS-3200 provides fully managed function with user friendly CLI, SNMP and Telnet.
USPS-3200 also supports Intelligent Platform Management Client supporting IPMI version. 1.5 feature. It is provided by standard compliant IPMC module.
