RAYA's Drop-out fuse cut-out which cover rated voltages of network 12 to 38 KV for over current protection, manufacture in two types.

Silicone rubber has been implemented in the utility market for more than 25 years and is becoming the polymeric material of choice for application at distribution, transmission and substation.

• RAYA has chosen Silicone Cut-out as main solution in power lines, for its exceptional performance durability and insulation characteristics. Inherent to silicone are its ability to maintain its natural hydrophobicity over its service life plus maintain stability against high temperatures, flashovers and UV radiation. RAYA silicone cut-outs weigh less than of their porcelain counterparts.The insulator body is a one-piece silicone injection mold that encapsulates the upper and lower mounting provision as well the center-mounting pin. This design eliminates the potential for moisture ingress and increases the rigidity as well as decreases the flexion on the silicone body under interruption and re-fusing.

Also all of RAYA's cut-out are electrically and mechanically interchangeable with the other manufacturers' such as S&C,A.B, LAPP,ABB orGEcut-outs.

All RAYA Cut-out meet or exceed applicable test requirements including IEEEC37.41:2000, ANSI C37.42-1996,NEMASG-2-1986 and IEC 60.282/05.
