Handpainted floral sarong from Bali.  The picture of the sarong in this auction is the actual sarong that you will receive.  This sarong will really accent your home or wardrobe nicely. The colors are more alive and vibrant than they appear in the photos. You can even use it as a cover for something else besides your body or hang it on the wall or in the window!  Some of our customers use them as throws for furniture or even tablecloths.

 

I had the pleasure of meeting the artists and purchasing directly from them. These sarongs are fabulous and if you get one I am sure that you will be satisfied. I am really impressed by the quality of these sarongs.  It is made in Bali from first quality rayon which means that the weave is tight and it almost feels like regular cotton. It is not a chintzy, gauzy material that shrinks after one washing. This sarong can be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle with cold water and the colors will remain vibrant.  After that, I recommend that you hang it to dry and then when it is dry, throw it into the dryer to get the wrinkles out.  The measurements are about 46in x 68in without the fringe.
