Detailed Product Description
O Scale brass Pecos River Brass Models Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe ATSF 3458 Baldwin little Hudson 4-6-4, built in Korea by Train World. Nothing stirs the imagination of a Santa Fe true believer like pure passenger power. This is a beautiful engine with very nice factory paint and that ever-so-distinctive Santa Fe lettering that would grace any layout. The engine represents the final rebuilding and appearance of the Baldwin-built series as it appeared with disc drivers, large sand dome and long distance tender. Lots of distinctive Santa Fe features grace this piece, Sunbeam headlight, front number boards, smokebox jacket, high-speed balanced disc drivers and the Elesco feedwater heater. The Sunbeam headlight works as does the tiny headlight on the tender. The high capacity tender sports the sprung passenger car buffer plate, double oil hatches and double water hatches and with the six-wheel roller bearing trucks it is built to go the long distance with the big varnish. These engines ran on the Santa Fe until the end of steam. In "Iron Horses of the Santa Fe Trail". A wonderful prototype locomotive produced by a great builder and powered by a Pittman ball-bearing motor a through a smooth and powerful drive and has a factory sound cam installed. Comes with its original box and packing.
