Detailed Product Description

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Unique wire lubricant utilizing an entirely new approach in thickener that blended with premium high viscosity base oil. It is designed for harsh environment, high temperature, high load carrying ability and resistance to abrasive wear for wire ropes and cables.  Small amount solvent for it to creep deep into the core of cable strands, dry up in a moment and leaving behind a thin layer of lubricant for effective protection. Has good adhesion to metal surfaces stemming from strong polar action of the thickener with adjacent metal. Protects wire ropes and cables from wash out and long term corrosion protection. Special polymer to ensure tackyness to prevent it from being slung off in high speed or disruptive motions of wire ropes. It is formulated for applications in centralized lubrication or manual brushing of wire rope and cables system.

ADVANTAGES:

Properietary thickener inherent extreme pressure and anti wear properties (apart from acting as an agent to carry base oil) that surpasses any other premium grease that are usually blended with a small percentage of anti wear additives. Its very high content (>15%) thickener which imparts EP and AW properties ensures dynamic lubrication of all time. Other premium grease tends to fail when their EP and AW additives have been exhausted over extended period of non lubrication. Formulated with high viscosity base oil of 1154cSt@40oC to achieve high temperature and high load carrying ability (Timken Load of 60lbs) thereby reduces cable wear when strands rubbing on each other (Four Ball Scar Diameter of 0.39mm) in cyclic loading and unloading. It also lubricates and protects pulleys and wire-drum that handles wire ropes in any hoist system. It can be easily applied onto cables and wire ropes by a pressurized collar or manual brushing. This product will out perform common Asphalt based wire rope lubricant. It would not soften at high temperature and stiffen over a period of time.

APPLICATIONS:

(1) For cables and wire ropes in heavy crane or pulling car that under high temperature and high load applications in kilns, furnaces and mills.  It is suitable for lubricating lift cables operating in deep mines or modern sky-scrappers.

(2) Excellent choice for heavy shore side gantry cranes and super post-panamax cranes in port that handles heavy payload of containers or tug cables for ships that exposed to corrosive marine condition. It has passed Salt Corrosion Test of over 2500hours of exposure!

(3) Logging industry on tug cables that pulling timber/ logs over mud and abrasive gravel.
