Devil's Claw is a plant that are found in the southern part of Africa, mostly in Namibia and Botswana. Two species are available nl. Harpagophytum procumbens and H. zeyheri where H. zeyheri are the most common. Harpagophytum procumbens are the more sought after species.
Devils Claw were used by the local people (mostly the San people) in several medicinal applications. Today it still forms part in several herbal medicines for treatment of a number of illnesses.
Material are dried and sifted, packed in bags and shipped in a container.
