All KOIMA members act as a commission agent declared with KOIMA under the authority granted
it by the government. KOIMA has made steady progress since its founding in 1970 with membership
currently numbering more than 6,804 compared to only 100 or so in the early days.
This includes 484 foreign firms from more than 31 different countries such as the U.S., Japan, the U.K. and Germany.
