Vibro Consistometer

1) test appropriate for concrete mixers of low and very low workability.

2) this is a mechanized variation of the slump test and includes a workability of concrete determination based on the principle of subjecting the concrete to vibration after removal of the slump cone. It is mounted on a small vibrating table that operates at fixed amplitude and frequency.

3) the completion time of the required vibration gives an indication of the concrete workability. The consistometer requires an electrical supply of 50 hz to comply with the tests specified. Comprises of a vibrating table, container, slump cone, graduated rod and transparent plate, tamping rod, timer and small square shovel.
