Thin Clients are computing devices which work in server-centric computing networks. They do not require Hard Disk Drives and a large amount of Memory, because they access applications through central servers. All data storage is on the center servers but not on the local device. 
Thin Clients decrease TCO (Total cost of Ownership) , increase security and higher efficiency for repairs and maintenance. Athena Thin Clients believes in the revival of the passive Client. Regular desktop PCs, which made their entrance in the mid 80's, will be redundant within several years for most of the users. This will lead to large-scale replacement of PCs by Thin Client devices in every field of deployment.
