JHJ Marketing owns and operate its magnesite mining areas covering over 366 hectares plus 17 hectares more from other magnesite permittees.
Magnesite Reserves: The magnesite reserve is estimated by the Bureau of Mines to be 84 million metric tons.
JHJ Marketing has been incorporated to JHJ Mining & Development Corporation and took over the the mining activities of jhj marketing.
Production: Current production for the Philippine market is 90 metric tons a day and is done manually. However, when semi-mechanize we can produce as much as 5, 000 metric tons a month.
Magnesite grade: MgO is 40 to 46 percent. Our current orders specify 42% MgO and this is serve in lumps of no more than six inches diameter in bulk loaded to barges or LCTs.
Loading Point: The loading point is at Puntalinao, Banaybanay, Davao Oriental, Philippines and is only a kilometer away from the mine site and accommodates as much as 10, 000 toner barges or LCTs. Side ship loading has been done too. For delivery by land, the loading point is right along the national highway.
The Mining site is about 72 kilometers from Davao city with cemented highway and is about 2 hours driving or in airconditioned bus. Davao City is 1-1 / 2 hour flight from Manila, Philippines.
