In 1922 Alamir for medical alcohol was built by Mr AbouAlkair Habib and Mr AbouStoles Papass (Italian) down town, at that time it was the best equipment in Egypt, but the production was limited and slowly, it was about 500 litre per day, so the founders began to think how to enhance the production to achieve 1500 litre perday. In 1945 the founders imported from Italy new big equipments so they could to develop the line of production and they achieved 1200 litres per day.
