Traderock General Trading LLC was established in Dubai in late 2007 by a consortium of investors from Kenya, Uganda, India, France and Lebanon.
One of Traderocks key focus sectors is the supply of High Grade Iron Ore from Kenya
In Kenya, Traderock through her affiliate companies has secured concessions and mining rights for a land with known deposits of high grade Iron ore.
TradeRock mine has been newly acquired by the company. It is an old mine that has been for a long time used to meet local market demand, therefore it has been partially developed.
Since the acquisition of the mine, an efficient logistical system operating from the mine to the port has been established, and timely and consistent deliveries of Iron Ore are guaranteed. Distance from mine to Mombassa port is 160 km.
Since our operations are still at their infancy, we are starting now with delivering 35000mt per 6 weeks, then 70000mt per month few month later, and we shall be able to achieve 100000 tons of Iron ore monthly by 2009.
We are ready to begin the delivery process right now and we just began sending offers to potential buyers.
