MMF Transparant was established in 1995 with the intention of supplying transparent packaging materials such as cellophane and BOPP to the food processing and retail industry. After a number of endeavours into vacuum packaging, packaging materials for airline catering and wholesale packaging for butcheries, we started to focus on flow wrap films, deep-drawing films and sealing films for the food processing industry. One element of this included our fresh-pack film and its industrial alternative, which led us to develop a large market share in the Netherlands. In addition to these transparent materials, we have increasingly focused our efforts on our printed range, since the market is clearly moving in that direction, and we have now been supplying printed films for those same applications for ten years already. Today, 70 percent of our materials are printed and, in addition to stocking and distributing films, we have incorporated the entire printing preparation process into our standard business activities, serving food processing companies across all of the Benelux region.
