Stakelum Office Supplies was founded in 1971 by Gerry Stakelum, and starated operations from a rented premises in Croke Street Thurles. In 1986 the company moved to Parnell Street where it acquired the site and buildings of the famous Dwans Mineral Factory. In May 1993, Conor Stakelum, after completing a B. Comm. In UCD, and qualifying as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse, acquired the business from Gerry Stakelum.
