2. Environment-friendly: Accredited with CE, without any hazardous and noxious substances.

3. Small in volume and light in weight: The li-ion electric bike battery is about 1/2 the volume and 1/3 the weight of the lead-acid battery.

4. Steady performance: high power output, 1C continuous, 3C pulse for normal cells and 20 C for special design. low self-discharge rate, less than 3% monthly.

FAQ

Q:How many years will my battery last?
A:The average rider can use a lithium battery for 2-3 years before feeling like it needs to be replaced. This depends on riding conditions, the weight of the rider, amount of use and discharge rate over time. Discharging your lithium battery quickly under high current will lower the battery capacity over time.

Q:How should I charge the battery?
A:To achieve the longest life from your battery it is best to charge the battery after each use or at least once daily if used every day. It should also be charged once every month if not used for a long period of time. All bikes come with smart chargers which stop charging when the battery is at capacity, so it is okay to leave you bike plugged in at all times.

Q:What does the battery management system do and do your batteries have them?
A: Yes, all of our lithium ion batteries come with battery management systems. The battery management system (BMS) is a small piece of circuitry incorporated as part of the lithium ion battery packs; it is designed to protect against overcharge, excessive discharge and to balance the charge between the individual cells. It's very important to have this for safety and for enhanced battery life.

Q:Do I need to use a terminal to charge my battery?
A:No. All of our batteries come with a charger that plugs in to a standard socket (240V). LED show that the battery is charging (red or orange) or charged (green)..

Q:How can I tell that the battery is completely empty ?
A:All of our batteries are fitted with a display showing the battery level. If your battery is completely empty, the display will not light up, as it runs on the battery.

Q:Do new batteries need to be broken in ?

A:You are advised to charge and completely spend new batteries three times. After this "breaking in", you will no longer need to completely exhaust the batter before charging, as our batteries do not suffer from the memory effect.

Q:Do I need to wait for the battery to run out before charging it ?

A:No, this is not necessary as lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from the "memory effect"

Q I don't ride in winter, what should I do with the batteries?
A.If you prevent the batteries from remaining empty for longer periods of time, they will last much longer. So be sure to charge your batteries at least once per month.
