An innovative LP gas injection system permits to convert to gas the vehicles of any power
VRTec – regulator opens a new page in the development of autogas technologies.
An original approach to the task of supplying of engines with gas fuel together with the development of gas system components with unique properties resulted in the creation of the gas system with a new level of stability, life length and comfort of use of the gas fuel. This system has no analogues in the world and is protected by the patent.
Vaporizer Regulator Technology (VRTec) means first of all the control of gas pressure in the wide range, which permits to create conditions of a maximum comfort of operation for other components of the gas system and provide the supply of a necessary quantity of gas in the peak consumption modes. It became possible due to the ability of the VRTec-regulator to vary dynamically the differential of pressure in the manifold within the range from 0 to 3 Bar.
VRTec-regulator has no diaphragms, levers and rubber valves,and so the system has no worsening of characteristics during the long exploitation, and no defects related with their ageing or deterioration. The feedback with the engine is provided by the high precision pressure and temperature sensor integrated in the body of the VRTec-regulator. It makes much easier the mounting of the system on the motor vehicle and excludes the errors of mounting. There is no more any need to drill the additional holes in the inlet manifold. The gas dosing is provided by the high frequency gas injector, which maintains the operating pressure with the accuracy of +/- 5%.
VRTec-regulator provides a comfort driving of the motor vehicle on gas fuel, which is similar by its elasticity and action with the sensations of driving on petrol. At that in the maximum load modes no critical conditions of operation of the gas system appear which could demand a forced switching of the motor vehicle to the operation on petrol. The most frequent sicknesses of the gas injection systems usually appear as the irregularity of injectors, which expresses in the vibration of the engine on idling and in the increase of a difference between petrol and gas consumption on more than 20%. The implementation of the VRTec-regulator permits to increase the control time duration of the gas injector on idling by decreasing of the operating pressure to the values near to zero. It improves significantly the smoothness of the engine operation. At maximum load modes, from the other hand, the VRTec-regulator increases the gas feeding pressure to the values, when the length of the gas control signal becomes almost equal to the length of the petrol signal, and thus there are no violations of the engine control logic.
VRTec-regulator has smaller overall dimensions with respect to ordinary injection reducers, at that its productivity of evaporated gas is sufficient for engines with volume up to 7000 ccm and power up to 250 kW.
VRTec-regulator can be used only together with injectors SLAVGAS and ECU AGAT, because only these injectors are able to operate regularly at the pressure more that 3 Bar, and the logic of control of the VRTec-regulator is a unique function of the ECU AGAT.
