Barium Carbonate Powder
Barium Carbonate Powder, also known as witherite, is a chemical compound that is used in the preparation of rat poison, in the manufacture of glass and porcelain, and formerly for refining sugar. In the welding electrodes industry, this chemical is used for controlling the chromate to sulfate ratio in chromium electroplating baths. For safe use, the chemical is used in its fritted form.
Barium Carbonate powder plays the role of a flux, crystallizing & matting agent. The chemical compound combines with certain type of colouring oxides in order to produce unique colours not easily attainable by any other means.
