Circular Lifting Magnet(CLM) is a flat-faced armature type magnet which produces large magnetic-force through relatively small distance. It has magnetic circuit of extremely short length and great cross-sectional area with two working air-gaps which are magnetically in the series and mechanically in parallel resulting in a large effective surface area to hold the lifting material load.

CLM are available in various diameters according to application for handling plates as well as scrap material in steel - mills, shipyards, foundries warehouses, large fabrication shops and scrap-yards.

CLM are available with robust cast-body of fabricated body from high permeability mild-steel. The body is designed very carefully to achieve efficient magnetic-circuit which results in optimum performance as well as also helps in better heat dissipation.

High permeability low carbon steel casting core is used to produce deep & strong magnetic field. The core is secured with magnet body by high tensile steel bolts.

Coils are wound with Copper or Aluminium conductor according to customer's requirement and are impregnated with high quality of epoxy-varnish. All insulating material confirms to class-H

Heavy cast manganese non-magnetic steel or stainless steel bumping plate is provided between shell & core to protect the coils from mechanical damage due to frequent heavy shocks & impact of the load. For smaller magnets, only non-magnetic stainless steel bumping plate is provided.

The terminal box is fabricated from thick plate to provide protection to internal coil connections and also to the supply cable from mechanical damage. A special care is taken for the protection of coil-leads against moisture.

Three legged suspension - sling is provided with Dee-shackle at one end and a common O-ring at the other end.

Special provision of heat resistance insulation will be provided for Furnace-Charging application and to handle hot load having material temp up to 650 deg .C.
