Our Coal taroil is extremely high in viscosity, and has dark brownish color and an aromatic odor. It is the result of complex and variable mixtures of naphthalene, acenaphthene, methylnaphthalenes, fluorene, phenol, cresols, pyridine, picolines, and more than 190 other substances in all. Our cola oil is flash point greater than 100 °F, less dense than water and insoluble in water; Vapors heavier than air.

Pavement Sealcoat – it can be incorporated into parking-lot sealcoat products, used to protect and beautify the underlying pavement.
IndustrialUses - Being flammable, coal tar is sometimes used for heating or to fire boilers. Like most heavy oils, it must be heated before it will flow easily. This coal tar can also be used to manufacture paints, synthetic dyes, and photographic materials.
Medical- Also known as liquor carbonis detergens (LCD), and liquor picis carbonis (Latin: coal tar solution) (LPC), it can be used in medicated shampoo, soap and ointment, as a treatment for dandruff and psoriasis, as well as being used to kill and repel head lice.
