The structure of this type of thermal insulation material is aluminum foil/PET film/LDPE/ closed cell XPE foam/aluminum foil/PET film/LDPE/XPE. XPE foam is a closed cell XPE cross linked foam 8mm in thickness. This product has specific applications in the steel frame home building industry. The aluminum foil plays the role of reflecting radiation heat
from sunshine or materials around, with a reflectivity of 96-97%. The PET film is used to strengthen
the tensile strength of the product for the convenience of spreading installation. And the XPE foam
has the function of trapping air so as to stop convection heat.
Most importantly, in response to customer's flame retardance requirement, our XPE foam can be made fireproof so that this product will not easily catch fire and will not encourage fire when fire hazard happens. Our product has passed AWTA's test in thermal insulation and fireproofness.
