GRT 25 is a cement based, flowable consistency, shrinkage compensated grout.
Description GRT 25 is a cement based, flowable consistency, shrinkage compensated grout. The material is one component and is easily prepared by mixing with fresh water only. Technical Data Water Mixing Rate : Fluid consistency 3,40 lt. water/20 kg. powder Resting Period : 5 -10 minutes Application Temperature : Between +5°C and +35°C Compressive Strength : 1 day: > 20 N/mm² (Plastic Consistency) : 7 days : > 50 N/mm² Density of fresh mortar : 2,13 g/cm³ Usage Areas Raising manhole covers In anchoring machine feet, Filling gaps, cativies and static cracks As a flowable mortar in places that are hardly accessible, In repairs that require early high strength, In beddings, In preparing iron starter bars of reinforced concrete, In grouting the gaps that exist around the installation pipes and elements. Fast setting patches and concrete repairs Advantages Due to its flowability properties it can grout gaps that are hardly accessible and can be applied easily with a pump. Prevents shrinkage after setting. Has early compressive strength. Resistant to oil and water permeability due to its high compactness properties. Does not contain metallic aggregate and chloride. Surface preparation Dry surfaces must be premoistured. All free standing water should be removed from concrete surfaces before the application begins. The surface has to be sound and solid, free of laitance, paint, dust, form oil and other contaminants that might affect the bonding adversely. Suitable tools are wire brushes, high-pressure water jets, sand and shot blasting. Preparation of the Mortar One bag ( 25 kg ) of GRT 25 should be mixed with 4,0 lt of clean water. The powder should always be added to the water slowly and during continuous mixing action with power mixer equipped with mixing paddle. The mixed material should be placed without delay. If a waiting period is necessary, the mix should be agitated until use. Application The boundaries of the application should be formed with suitable forms. Ensure that air displaced by the grout is not trapped inside the form and is allowed to escape thru air holes. Ensure that sufficient head of pressure is maintained to keep mortar flowing under narrow base plates. Exposed mortar should be properly cured with CURE P or other approved methods. Do not apply thinner than 10 mm or thicker than 30 mm in a single pour. Consumption : Apr. 1,85 kg powder + mixing water / lt void.
