Infrared Compound Eye Sensor Detection and Identification Module
This sensor consists of many infrared-sensitive transistors and light-emitting diodes, It can track the movement of an object within the range of 20cm. Although the sensor as a whole, but still can read the information for each of infrared (IR) phototransistors, Sensors use IIC communication, making data transmission easier.
Correct the ambient light by turning off the IR LED and comparing the values, If you want to improve the readings from compound eyes, you must perform calibration. It is recommended that you wait until the IR light does not exist at night.
Note that the infrared rays can pass through a closed window lilies, so if you do not want to wait until the evening, you can go to the basement or a room without windows.
Place a piece of paper in front of the sensor (about 20cm away), Observe the difference in the value of each pin. Little difference in value when using paper (+/-100). If a value is too high, you can use opaque tape or heat shrink film to block part of the infrared, If a value is too low, it blocks a part of the infrared rays scattered on other sensors.
