Step1. Take 1 pack 2g of Kefir powder and add into 500ml milk.


Step2. Mix them well using clean spoon or stick.


Step3. Cap it lightly and put in room temperature(about 25°C) with no shaking for 18-24 hours, till the milk coagulates, save in refrigerator and enjoy it as soon as possible. The key point for making kefir is the temperature(25°C-30°C), if you are making it in a cold season keep it in a warm place, please.

Kefir (or alternatively kefirs, keefir, kephir, kewra, talai, mudu kekiya, milk kefir, búlgaros) is a fermented milk drink made with kefir grains and is believed to have its origins in the Caucasus Mountains. It is prepared by inoculating cow, goat, or sheep's milk with kefir grains.

 Kefir grains are a combination of bacteria and yeasts in a matrix of proteins, lipids, and sugars, and this symbiotic matrix forms "grains" that resemble cauliflower. For this reason, a complex and highly variable community of lactic acid bacteria and yeasts can be found in these grains.
