Plaster of Paris bandage
Plaster of Paris bandage is made from a special woven cloth, (i.e Leno Cloth), uniformly impregnated with the finest quality, fast setting plaster of Paris. The bandage is spooled on a round core for superior bandage stability. Moisture proof packing on automatic plant makes the product an elegant and improves its quality.
Rapid fracture immobilization
The fast setting plaster of Paris used on ORTHOPLAST bandage ensure that fractures can rapidly be immobilized, especially important accident and emergency department, operating theatre and busy fracture clinics.
The interlocked weave of this cloth makes the wet bandage more stable and conformable, to mould around awkward contours. The LENO CLOTH also helps to minimize plaster loss.
The introduction of round cores to "ORTHOPLAST" (plaster of Paris bandage) improves the stability and hanlding characteristics of the wet bandage, which is particularly important in wider sizes. The round core design ensures good wetting of the bandage.
Moisture proof packing
Each bandage is packed in a splash proof flow wrap, which is then packed into a moisture proof laminated module pack. The module pack offers good protection to ORTHOPLAST plaster of Paris bandage as well as easy to handle. Each module pack has application instruction printed on it.
