Semi-automatic Tabber/Stringer with String Advance-Conveyor
The Tabber/Stringer is a machine for soldering crystalline solar cells into series circuits (strings).
It combines both processes of tabbing and stringing in the same machine.
The machine is simple to operate, maintain and repair.
Only 1 operator is required to load the cell into the cell alignment fixture and operate the machine
Stretching of ribbons before alignment improves the process reliability and assures better repeatability of alignment tolerances.
Soldering is accomplished using balanced heat conduction on both sides of the cell, simultaneously.
The cell is automatically pre-heated to reduce thermal stresses.
Contact pressure is limited to prevent breakage.
Precision electronic controls are used to insure accurate heating
temperatures during the soldering process.
