BLUE JEANS THAT HAVE 5 COLORS
This is nothing but the revolution. In general, most of denim fabrics use indigo dyed warp and bleached or unbleacehed weft. The warp shows its indigo blue on the surface. The weft comes out only when jeans are inside out. This new series from TENRYO DENIM, is going to revolutionize the idea of jeans. The difference between TENRYO DENIM and ordinary jeans is quite obvious. The warp is the same with other jeans. TENRYO DENIM uses indigo dyed warp but the weft comes in 5 different colors. The weft shows its color whenever you move. Tight straight fit with 13.5 oz original selvedge denim.
DETAILS of COLOR REVOLUTION JEANS
The most distinctive difference between Color Revolution jeans and regular jeans is the coler. It is obvious whne the jeans is inside out. Was a pair of jeans with this unique character istic able to exist? Aging and indigo fade is the beauty of wearing jeans. It makes you excited, imagening haow it is going to change by wearing. In some case, jenas get a result far from what you eexpect. Jeans are like living crea- ture. Every pair is different. With TNERYO DENIM Color Revolution series, Jeans comes in Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Red. The weft colors shows its color just enough between each indigo dyed weft. Color is not the only feature that TENRYO DENIM is particulart about. Color Revolution jeans are full of the details that fastinate jeans fans.
In manufacturing our jeans, we are always particular completely about the material, the sewing, the silhouette, the detail and the aging ( the variation by the lapse of time).
The material of a denim: the material of a denim is weaved out of rope-dyed warp threads by using a shuttle loom of an old type, with thoroughgoingly selecting types and thicknesses of warp threads and wefts, weaving consistencies, weaving tension and so on to fit types of denims. Usually, we use the extremely inefficient production methods that have approximately one-fifth the production efficiency in comparison with weaved ones by the newest machine with the computer control.
As skilled crafts-persons control, the material marked by our strong individuality is weaved. The material is more bulky, and the texture of the material or individualities of the rope-dyed thread come out because of the natural force to the threads.
In addition, to keep the texture of the material, we use products in “KIBATA*.”
(*KIBATA: Material to be left as it is after being weaved and taking off from looms, without any shrink-resistant fabrics.)
Then, the old-fashioned and the unique texture is resulted, and the unique shrinkage and twist are produced by washing and drying. There are some cases where a lack of uniformity in dying or weaving is produced, but these are also tastes by old-fashioned production methods.
We are sewing with the unique and tasteful sewing methods shown in old and nice vintage jeans. The methods used for the strength and production efficiency in those days such as narrow-stitches in back pockets, wind-stitches in a belt-loop, sewing a belt and a back-patch with a single stroke and so on, are done for tasteful expressions and the aging (variation by the lapse of time) in our time. Especially, sewing by vintage-machine called union-special in raising the bottom of trousers causes the unique twist on the bottom edge because of using cotton threads for KIBATA . This is also done for the aging after wearing long.
Each material and each part is conscious of the “aging (variation by the lapse of time)” caused by wearing jeans.
In using denim materials having the unique texture by a shuttle loom of an old type, and having the background where the goal to durability and functionality as “ working wear” in those days is changed to the object or significance as a “taste” today, all are done for the “aging” and for the user’s personalities.
Jeans get to fit the user’s body, and dyed indigo starts fading down, which then causes the unique expression which only the user can make.
We grasp jeans as a mirror reflecting the life of the user, and would desire the user to bring up the one and only friend.
The weft shows its color just enough to tell what color they have.
