“high-RESPONSE” is PCD and PCBN tool machining diamond wheel based by the vitrified bond. PCD and PCBN are materials produced by sintering diamond and CBN particulates at high temperature and high pressure, offering higher hardness, strength, and wear resistance when compared with carbide materials. These materials are difficult to grind with the conventional metal and resin bond wheels.
Vitrified bond is a glassy bond with high modulus of elasticity, which offers a wheel achieving remarkable accuracy and workability.
