 I've been researching flickering torch lights for the backyard to add some ambient lighting to our summer backyard dinners. These torches caught my eye because of the organic vine design incorporated into the flame cage. These torches are attractive. Simulated flames are warmer than the light emitted by my existing landscape LED lamps and are soothing to the eye. I currently have these torches staked into potting planters and can move the torches anywhere we want in our yard.

Here are some points of clarification as vendor's product description is not completely clear:
1) You can make these torches stand 36 inches high (the spike that goes into the soil is 7 inches long, making the entire length of the torch 44 inches) or you can have it stand 24 inches by removing one of the 12-inch tubes.
2) You have to install torch into soil, I did not receive stands to place torch flat on the ground and screws were not included, per seller's description, for wall installation.
3) Torches are made of plastic and are top-heavy, spike needs to be firmly staked into the dirt for optimal stability--be sure to pack the dirt around the spike. Once installed, the torches stand pretty solidly.
4) Torches stay lit for hours. They've been coming on around 7:45 pm and the one morning I woke up at 3am, for a drink of water, the torches were still going strong. All 4 torches I received work and I will update review if any dependability issues arise.
5) On/off button is a nice touch for when days grow short and you have the option of keeping the torches off so that they can charge fully and only turn them on upon demand.
These torches make me happy and I'm thinking of purchasing another set. If you enjoy outdoor living, these torches complete your space.
