Care tips for synthetic wigs 1, Have two wigs ready to wear at all times. This way when you are washing one wig, you have a back up which is ready to go. Plus, rotating between wigs also helps to extend the life. 2,Wash your wig every 2 to 3 weeks or every few wearings, as needed. 3,Always use synthetic-safe products to wash and style your wig to keep the fiber vibrant and looking it's best. 4,When washing, pay special attention to the area around the face which may accumulate dirt, oil, and makeup. 5,To avoid stretching the cap, never place a wet wig on a mannequin or Styrofoam head. A folding wig stands or tall can of hairspray make the best drying platforms. 6,Never use hot water on synthetic hair, as it may loosen the wefts and cause damage to the fiber. 7,Never twist or rub your wig vigorously while washing or drying.
8,Keep your synthetic wig away form any heat source, including standard hair dryers, curling irons, wood fires, ovens, spas, etc. to avoid causing irreparable damage to the fiber.
