Ngali Nut Incense
Canarium Indicum Resin
Otherwise known as Ngali Nut tree, the naturally occurring resin from Canarium Indicum has a high oil content that produces a rare and uplifting aroma when vaporised. Scientific research suggests that the resin is formed within the tree only under extreme weather conditions such as lightning.
The resin has been used for over a thousand years by Pacific Islander peoples in their rituals and ceremonies. The resin is regarded as containing the essence of the timeless forest. The aromatics that are released from the resin when it is vaporised is proposed to engender a spiritual state of mind of being at one with and returning to the ancient forest.
Ngali Nut seeds oil has been registered by the TGA of Australia as a therapeutic medicine. A skin cream derived from the nut oil is also patented in USA for use in the treatment of Arthritis. The incense is used for spiritual purposes but more importantly to enhance health.
