    We are a leading Chinese manufacturer of RTV(room temperature vulcanized) liquid silicone rubber for mold making, which is widely applicable to multipule fields and purposes, including candle casting, resin casting, polyurethane casting, gypsum product reproduction, lifecasting,  food casting, metal casting, concrete casting, etc.
    Our RTV silicone rubber for mold making, is normally of milkwhite color and in a viscous liquid state. It is composed of 2 parts(A:silicone rubber, B:curing agent). When the 2 parts are mixed in a proper ratio and applied to the model in room temperature, the liquid rubber would cure into solid state within a "curing time", which is adjustable depending on the user's requirements.

    Our silicone rubber falls into 2 categories, namely addition cure(platinum-cured) and condensation cure(tin- cured). For each category, we have different items of different hardness, viscosity and curing time to cater to different users' requirements. Users can use it for different operations like pouring molds and brushing molds etc.

Hardness(shore A):

When it comes to choosing proper hardness and viscosity, usually lower hardness and viscosity is recommended for casting of small-sized products with intricate features , and higher hardness and viscosity is recommended for casting of simple or big-sized products. Our product's hardness ranges from shore 10A to 50A to meet customers' different requirements.


Different colors: As some customers may need to make colored molds, we also have our own pigments to match with the silcone rubber. If need be, it will be our pleasure to sell you colored silicone rubber, or you may do the dying process by yourselves. Just choose the best way for you.




The choosing of viscosity for silicone rubber mainly depends on whether you have a vacuum chamber for deaerating. The vacuum chamber is used to deaerate the mixed silicone rubber and dispel any bubbles out of the rubber.


1. With a vacuum chamber, you won't have a problem with high viscosity, for you can deaerate it easily.


2. Without a vacuum chamber, low viscosity is recommended. This is to prevent air from being entrapped in the rubber. Besides, we can prolong the curing time of the silicone rubber so as to leave enough time for it to give off the gas and bubbles before it entirely cures.

Below is a general use guidance for our RTV silicone rubber:

1. Stir the liquid silicone (Part A and part B) well before use (except when depending on machine ).
2. Weigh the desired amount of part A into a clean mixing container, and then weigh the proper amount of part B into the container. Mix the two component together by stirring with a stick. Scrape the container walls and bottom well to insure a thorough mix.
3. Though it is often unnecessary to deaerate the material due to its low viscosity and our special formulation, it is better to do so to obtain a bubble free rubber. Place the container into a vacuum chamber and evacuate the entrapped air from the mixture using a vacuum pump capable of achieving 29 inches of mercury vacuum. The mixture will rise, crest and then collapse in the container. Interruption (bumping) of the vacuum may be necessary to prevent overflowing the container. Keep the mixture under full vacuum for 2-3 minutes.
4. Pour the deaired material slowly in a steady stream from one end of the mould so that the material flows evenly over the pattern. This should minimize entrapment of air bubbles under the flowing material. A ”ready” mold may be poured firstly over the pattern, which will also help reduce the possibility of entrapping air on the pattern and in the cured rubber. A mold release agent may be applied on the pattern first to improve release.
5. Allow the rubber to cure for 2-4 hours at 24C before removing the cured rubber mold from the pattern. Heat acceleration is recommended if necessary.


12 months from date of production when stored at 25°C in the original sealed packages.

Inhalation: Remove source(s) of contamination and move victim to fresh air. Contact physician immediately.

Eye Contact: Flush eyes with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water; remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse; seek medical attention if rash develops.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a physician. Contact physician immediately.
After first aid, get appropriate in-plant, paramedic, or community medical support.
